Where Does Courage Live?
In Your Body
If you tell yourself to have courage--to be brave--that won't guarantee that your self will do your conscious bidding. I remember being so scared I froze. Couldn't move an eyelash, even. Couldn't scream. My body betrayed me. I remember becoming mute when speaking would get me what I most wanted. My body betrayed me. Lots of courses and therapy later I feel internal courage, but even moreso with the daily and quick boost of EFT.(The Emotional Freedom Technique.) Here's a quick poem called Elephant Expectations: When elephants expect to die they head for the elephant graveyard Stephen Wright knows when he’ll die. His birth certificate has an expiration date. Of course, he’s joking. The elephants actually die. I’m going to a Hollywood Pitchfest to pitch my latest novel. I’ve been saying I expect to die but learn how to pitch Hollywood. That’s elephant expectation. I’m shifting to Einstein. ...meaning after tapping with EFT I'm using Einstein's imagination to feel the courage and confidence to talk eagerly about "Gambling for Good Mail" to potential producers. If I were ill I would use EFT for that, too. It's fascinating how it works. Take a look at this short video. Evy Evelyn Cole, MA, MFA The Whole-mind Writer
