Our Subconscious Minds and Physics Part II
What Robert Anthony taught me about Physics—Part II Here's a review of Part I: Like the Law of Gravity, we live with the Law of Attraction, whether or not we are aware of it. Like attracts like. What we think equals what we feel. What we feel equals how we vibrate. How we vibrate equals what we attract. We can change our thoughts. Much has been written about the power of positive thinking. However, we need to be careful here. In my essay "Mind Over Matter" I tell about a young man who committed suicide because he grew up squelching all feelings in order to be positive. Robert Anthony shows me how to change thoughts in the moment, privately, to change the vibrations. This is not at all the same as pretending positive feelings because your mother told you that was how to be successful. In "The Attractor Factor" Joe Vitale describes how he went from homeless to millionaire by changing his thoughts. He credits Robert Anthony. In "The Irresistible Offer" Mark Joyner writes about the "frame" for every offer, whether it's an offer for a date or a deal. Your frame is the vibrations surrounding your offer. These vibrations come from our subconscious minds, from the thoughts we have ingrained there. We can change them. It's pretty exciting. Quantum physics is the study of the building blocks of the universe. Sub-atomic particles in motion. The only time we have is now. If we regret the past or worry about the future the only thing we're doing now is attracting negative vibrations. Consider these beliefs as fallacies: 1. "No pain, no gain." 2. Economics of scarcity. Limited resources. 1. If you struggle to gain something the very struggle attracts negativity. Performing a painful exercise to lose weight works temporarily. The loss doesn't last. Playing a game for fun works much better because the fun attracts positive vibrations. 2. A consciousness of lack attracts lack. I grew up in no-nonsense New England with the consciousness of hard work. Action matters. It has taken me a long time to realize that writing whatever I like to write at the moment, be it an article about Robert Anthony, a poem about sweetbreads, or a novel about hurricane love without caring if I sell any of them is my pleasure, and, as my mother would say, "let the devil take the hindmost," whatever that means. It has taken me a long time to clear my subconscious mind of negativity and change my life. If you have any negativity in your life, I would like you to clear it out faster than I did. It can be done quickly with
