Our Subconscious Minds and Physics
Our mid-brains, limbic portion, subconscious, unconscious minds store stuff. Robert Anthony shows us the physics of them.
What Robert Anthony Taught me About Physics Part II have long been fascinated by physics but too scared to actually take a course in it. I dabble around the edge of it, read what others say Stephen Hawkins means when he writes about strings. Slowly I have come to accept the fact of space having an intimate relationship with time, and that, as Einstein said, "All past, present and future is an illusion, albeit a stubborn one." "So," you may ask, "What does theoretical physics have to do with my life--my job, my kids, my car, my taxes, my bad back, my subconscious mind?" Well, that's what Robert Anthony taught me. He convinced me that quantum physics is the study of the building blocks of the universe. Your body, and mine, is made up of cells. These cells are made up of molecules which are made up of atoms, which are in turn made up of sub-atomic particles such as electrons. The study of quantum physics has proven that everything is made up of large groups of sub-atomic particles, and that matter is simply a certain rate of vibratory energy. Nothing is solid, actually. You and I are each a large group of vibrating energy. I remember a decade when it was cool to say, "He has good vibes." The next decade it was uncool to refer to a person's "vibes". There was more to that slang than I realized. Each of us is an electromagnetic human being putting out vibes. Positive vibrations are high and short, negative ones are low and long. Someone has measured them somehow, I reckon. The Law of AttractionI've written about this particular law several times. It can be a devil if you don't know what's going on in your subconscious mind. Like attracts like. Like all natural laws, it operates with mathematical exactitude. Before the law of gravity was identified nobody knew it existed yet everyone lived by it. Everyone lives by the law of attraction whether or not they identify it. Everything in your life is invited, attracted and created by you. There are no exceptions! Everything comes to you as you believe. Your beliefs are lodged in your subconscious mind. It does not change the reality of the world around you. It just filters the information that you present to it in order to support your beliefs or the picture that you hold in your mind. It does not think for itself. Choice becomes available to you when you stop identifying with your conditioned patterns of the past. Until you reach that point you are compelled to think, feel and act in certain ways according to the conditioning of your mind. When you can make choices you are no longer victim of your unconscious reactions. For example, I was conditioned to believe that I needed a man to support me financially and that I was not sufficiently attractive in a petite, feminine sense to "catch" a man I respected. Those two beliefs were not conscious, yet I acted on them through two bad marriages and one long bad relationship and countless in between. Like attracts like. Until I made my beliefs conscious and discarded them, I disliked the company I kept and was often broke. Sometimes I wondered why, but I truly did not think I deserved any better. Isn't that ridiculous? I hadn't done anything wrong. When choice became available to me I discarded the old conditioning, changed the filters in my mind to change my reality, and realized I deserve all the good things in this universe. So do you. Anyway, I am sure the electromagnetic vibrations coming off me once I discarded those negative beliefs attracted my current wonderful husband and friends.
Robert Anthony
writes that what we think equals what we feel and what we feel equals how we vibrate, and how we vibrate equals what we attract. But we live in a world of negative vibrations. To avoid getting caught up in them he has a marvelous suggestion, beyond avoiding news of the world, and that's taking 17 seconds to think about something that makes you feel good. He calls it flipping the switch to positive vibrations for 17 seconds. Positive vibrations are high frequency. Are you aware of what happens to surrounding communities when experts in Transcendental Meditation gather in large groups to meditate? As the attendance number of meditators increases, violent crime, warfare, and terrorism all decrease. They must be sending out high frequency vibrations. I'm sending you some right now.
